While LeBron James continues to not age and ball like he’s the best player of all time, the same can’t be said for his banana boat bud, his 2003 NBA Draft classmate, Carmelo Anthony.
Poor Melo just endured the worst season of his career with the Thunder, averaging career lows across the board while playing the role of spectator to Russell Westbrook’s one-man show in the playoffs. He’ll still get paid $28 million next season assuming he doesn’t opt out of his contract, but that’s it. Veteran minimums or retirement are the only two scenarios I see in Melo’s future, and to that he has a response:
“All Critics Can Duck Sick”

Melo captioned that in an Instagram post on Monday, which includes a photo of him mugging to the camera as a waiter pours him wine:
Chin up, Thunder fans. Only one more season of watching washed Melo jack up ill-advised jumpers. #STAYME7O
