I can’t get enough of the Joel Embiid vs. city park pickup game bros and I’m not even some big NBA dicc rider like you see on Twitter. I’m more amused by the absurdity of Embiid playing a pickup game where the (usually white) guys are running offensive sets with picks and moving without the ball.
And then Joel gets an ISO, facials hipster bro and then windmills. It’s a piece of art and I can’t get enough of this guy doing things like this. It invigorates me during a time where more and more guys won’t even walk on a public street if it’s not for a brand that’s paying them to walk down the street or play pickup ball with guys from the neighborhood.
This is now the second time this weekend that Embiid was taking souls on Philly playgrounds. He was spotted this weekend dunking on fools near some Whole Foods on South Street.
Keep your eyes open in South Philly. Embiid just might show up and put you on SportsCenter.
