The Los Angeles Clippers may have pulled some witchcraft to come away with a very productive offseason, but one thing is for sure: their new logo is still appalling. The new ownership can keep telling themselves it’s “bold, edgy and powerful,” but the public knows that uninspiring effort isn’t even D-League worthy.
To make matters worse, people who don’t know any better are spending their hard-earned money on new team gear. Among the goods available is the bright red Clippers leather jacket above, which features an “LAC” version of the Twitter “@ sign” in front, and their main, EA Sports knockoff logo on the back. Oh, and it will only set you back $600.

Oh dear … some poor fashion copywriter was forced to say something over-the-top nice about this unfortunate creation. Props to that person for turning off his (or her) sense of taste while writing it.
Suffice it to say, the Clippers would have been better off giving $600 to the guy who won ESPN’s redesign contest:
