After an upset-filled and unpredictable start to the 2022 NCAA Tournament, we are down to the Final Four and it is fully loaded with the blue bloods of college basketball. Saint Peter’s magical run came to an end in the Elite Eight, but now we have an iconic rivalry and two perennial contenders set to battle it out for the national championship in New Orleans.
The Final Four matchups will take place on Saturday, April 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on TBS, with the national championship game set for Monday, April 4.
In the first national semifinal, No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks will take on the No. 2 Villanova Wildcats. In the primetime showdown, one of the greatest rivalries in the sport takes centerstage with the Duke Blue Devils taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels as Coach K looks to cap off his career with a run to the end. UNC, meanwhile, will be looking to end Coach K’s coaching career on a sour note.
