The upcoming season will reportedly mark the end of an era for the Duke basketball program.
According to Jeff Goodman of Stadium, head coach Mike Krzyzewski has decided he will retire following the 2021-22 campaign.
Goodman also noted the leading candidate to replace Coach K is current Duke assistant and former player Jon Scheyer.

Last season, the Blue Devils missed the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1995. Coach K had also missed most of the year due to a ruptured disk in his lower back.
The 74-year-old Krzyzewski has won five national championships, made 12 Final Four appearances, and is the NCAA Division I all-time wins leader during his time at Duke.
Coach K is also been inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame, so this truly will mark the end of a legendary career.
