It’s not every day that you see a ref get involved in a brawl, but that’s exactly what happened during an AAU event over the weekend at the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield, Indiana.
A coach decided to argue a call in the first quarter which led to a technical foul. That’s when one of the coaches picked up their bags and left the court in protest along with the players. Then, all hell broke loose.
A man approached the ref and took a swing, before a player came running in with some strikes of her own.
There was eventually a scrum and the ref got dumped onto his head as the chaos continued.
Of course, it was all caught on video.
