It’s been a rough offseason for Washington ballers Isaiah Thomas and Jamal Crawford.
Thomas had to settle for the veteran’s minimum from the Nuggets, a far cry from the Brinks truck he was expecting, after a lost season with the Cavaliers and Lakers. Crawford on the other hand, remains unemployed, which has Thomas absolutely baffled.
Can you believe it? It’s almost like there isn’t market for a 38-year-old defensive turnstile whose claim to fame is jacking up shots. There’s a reason Crawford’s name was always mentioned in trade rumors during his Clippers tenure.
Crawford, of course, agrees with his BFF:
The former Michigan star shot 41 percent (33 percent from three) and averaged around 10 points last season with the Timberwolves. He declined a $4.5 million player option in May, which now looks like a baffling decision in hindsight.
