It’s only Wednesday, but LeBron James’ social media activity this week has likely driven some diehard Cavaliers fans to the deep end. The guy just can’t help but send signals that bolting Cleveland again isn’t out of the question.

And somehow, The King added more fuel to the fire in an interview with Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck. One of the most notable excerpts from the piece? His willingness to take a pay cut and team up with his boys Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade:
“I really hope that, before our career is over, we can all play together,” James said. “At least one, maybe one or two seasons—me, Melo, D-Wade, CP—we can get a year in. I would actually take a pay cut to do that.”
Maybe at the end of their careers, James said. Maybe sooner. One more ring chase, this time with everyone on board.
“It would be pretty cool,” James said. “I’ve definitely had thoughts about it.”Before bounding away, he smiles and closes with a coy chirp: “We’ll see.”
Seems like a weird time to start talking about forming a super team when you’re trying to win a championship for “The Land,” but then again, it is LeBron.
