You guys know Knicks center Robin Lopez for his Sideshow Bob hair, love for Comic Con and ruthless crusade against all NBA mascots. Basically, characteristics and behavior casual fans wouldn’t expect to translate well in the girlfriend department.
But that’s where you’re wrong. If you’re an NBA player banking $13 million a year to be a serviceable big man — or really, a player in general — chances are a beautiful broad will come your way.
For Robin, it’s worked out well for him, because his lady friend, Christine Vargas, is both stunning and looks to be down to see Star Wars at least 30 times.
